| Description |
| A detective in your department uncovered an illegal gun-running operation and was able to trace it back to a powerful crime syndicate. He had compiled a large amount of evidence and was ready to have them taken down but he was discovered and asassinated. Some of the evidence managed to make its way back to headquarters and a special task force was put on the case.
In Virtua Cop you take on the role of a police officer tracking down these illegal gun-runners. Grab your Stunner gun or control pad and start shooting anything that moves, except for civilians of course. Three stages are featured: Arms Black Market, Underground Weapon Storage, and Gang Headquarters. Each stage features three scenes and various power-ups, such as a machine gun, rifle, magnum, and shotgun. The bad guys come at you from all angles as they pop out from behind such items as hills, buildings, and construction equipment. Shoot and reload as fast as you can; pause for a second and you won't last long. Players can go it alone or with a friend.
