Description
|
Super Mario All-Stars is a truly super collection of all-time greats, giving nostalgic gamers three NES classics in one 16-Meg cartridge: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. The games have been upgraded with stronger tunes and new backgrounds and character art, and there's now battery back-up for saving your progress. However, gameplay and level design are identical to the originals. The compilation also includes Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, which was previously available only in Japan as it was deemed too difficult for U.S. audiences. The legitimate sequel to Super Mario Bros., Lost Levels (known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan) has the same gameplay as SMB, but with a new, more challenging layout of levels. |
