Description

Nintendo's Dr. Mario 64 is a remake of the classic 1990 releases for the NES and Game Boy machines. Similar to both the ubiquitous Tetris and Sega's Columns, Dr. Mario is a puzzle game in which different pieces fall from the top of the screen. Falling pieces can be aligned with pieces already on the board to make them all disappear. Following the game's apothecarian theme, the puzzle pieces take the form of medicine capsules, which must be arranged by color to remove harmful "viruses" from the game board. A split screen mode allows up to four players to compete at once in this latter-day sequel. |
